Venue hire
As one of Wales' most iconic buildings, the National Library is the perfect location for your event. Located above beautiful Cardigan Bay in Aberystwyth, we have stunning views which make an impression, and professional facilities for all your requirements.
With a range of splendid rooms and flexible spaces, the Library is the perfect location for any event, from small meetings to conferences and weddings. We also offer a range of services to help your events run smoothly.
Digitisation and conservation
The Library is well known internationally for its expertees in digitisation and conservation. Who better to turn to for support with your projects? We're happy to discuss small or large projects, so you're welcome to contact us.
Material reproduction
We can offer a wide-ranging copying service to complement the material to hand. We can create copies of items from the collection, or provide copies of your personal items.
We can also offer copies of historical maps for commercial site investigation and environmental audits.
Media
The wealth of the Library's collections offers itself to both publications and digital media, and we're very keen to see our collections being used. It's a fantastic way of sharing our collections with the world, and sharing the story of Wales.
The Library building is also available as a location for filming the collections or pieces to camera. As one of Wales' most iconic buildings with its stunning views over Cardigan Bay and the town of Aberystwyth, it's the perfect location for filming.
